Cobalt

When people think of the many elements, cobalt is an element that is rarely brought up. Why? This is because cobalt is seldom talked about. Not many people have heard of cobalt, except for it being a color.

Many people don’t know what cobalt is. In addition, many people do not know what the definition of cobalt is. Cobalt is an element that is an essential mineral to the body. Although the body needs it, it does not need a large amount-a small amount is enough. The duty of cobalt in the body is that it stores in the red blood cells with smaller amounts in the liver, pancreas, and the spleen. It has been said that cobalt helps increase the glucose transport from the blood to the cells. Cobalt is most important to the blood cells of the body. However, in fact, there are other uses of cobalt. What many people don’t know is that cobalt + mineral do many good things. Many that do know what cobalt is or does, may not put cobalt and minerals together. However, there is indeed, a cobalt mineral. Cobalt the mineral is also known as pentlandite. It is a form a water supplement, made by WaterOz.

Along with any other element, that the body needs you can also have too much or too little. In fact, it is quite common for a person to have a cobalt deficiency. Some of the symptoms of a deficiency are digestive disorders, fatigue, poor circulation, slow growth rate, nerve damage, and anemia.

Many times if you get a physical from doctor, and he/she notices that your cobalt levels are down, he/she will put you on cobalt and calcium supplements. Sometimes it is just for a little while, other times it may be until your next check-up. Usually, the doctor will have you come back anywhere from 4-6 weeks and have the levels retested.

If you are a person that does not like taking any thing other than natural stuff, you are in luck. There are other alternatives to taking pill supplements. You can eat some natural foods in your everyday diets. Some of the foods that are high in cobalt are raw milk (straight from the cow), goat milk, a variety of meats, apricots, and many sea vegetables. Some of the sea vegetables that are good are dulce, sea lettuce, laver or nori, Irish moss, and kelp among many other sea vegetables.
